When New York City Ballet visits Tivoli, the audience has a unique opportunity to see a selection of works from the outstanding repertoire of New York City Ballet.
New York City Ballet comes with more than 60 dancers performing seven spectacular pieces divided into two programmes.
In September, the company began its 75th-anniversary season, and the performances in Tivoli are the last ones to celebrate this historic jubilee.
Programme A consists of Balanchine’s Serenade and Stravinsky Violin Concerto, and Justin Peck’s Pulcinella Variations. Programme B includes Jerome Robbins’ Fancy Free, Balanchine’s Allegro Brilliante and Rubies,and Christopher Wheeldon’s This Bitter Earth.
